Orphan Events

Orphan Events are events not assigned to at least one active category. They can be created by deleting categories. Deleting an event's only category will make it an orphan.

Events need to have categories assigned to them to be used in search results and RSS feeds, so, it's important that all events have at least 1 category assigned to them.

Helios makes orphan management easy by warning you at the admin console homescreen if any orphans are present in your calendar, so you can resolve them quickly.
